Heating power of the Sun 

The temperature at the center of the sun is about 15 million degrees Celsius. Can you imagine how powerful that temperature is?
Just imagine that the temperature of a sandstone is 15 million degrees Celsius and If you stand 150 km away from that sandstone, it will be able to kill you.
